Cole Mollard – you will be amazing! Go get em!!
Kristi sent us this cute pic.
Love and Hugs!!
We met Andy, Katy, and kids (Tom, Peter and Marie) for dinner at the Market Bar, which is a fun place down at the Ferry Building. I chose it so Andy and I could eat some Oysters together. And shrimp, halibut, crab, clams, etc. We two have to support each other, as our spouses both don’t love seafood.
These guys had just come from a Giants game. (As you can see they geared up at the Dugout. Good Giants fans have to keep it sharp when living in the Bakersfield area – surrounded by Dodger’s fans!) We had so much fun, picking things up right where we left off last time. I love that about old friends! Actually it was even more fun to see the kids get along! We hope to go see them for a weekend in October. Fingers Crossed :)
Happy 4th, From Emeryville!
Kristi used her super-duper Marriott discount and got us two lovely rooms.. Why Not!
We were on the 9th floor with a great view of the San Francisco fireworks.
But first we women shopped at the mall, while Mark took the kids to the pool for a couple of hours.
Then we had a magical dinner, alfresco, with the best weather of the year!
I had a view of the sun setting over the city, and it was warm with no wind.
Pasta Pomodoro – who knew?
Mark got Uncle Greg to pick up some fireworks outside of SF, so the boys go to do a little messing around in the parking lot.
We all decided it was a great way to do the fourth!!
We’ve been very low key this summer.
No Camp July, even.
Kristi has had an illness, since last November, that I don’t think I’ve mentioned here, but until she is back to her fabulous self, we are all keeping low profile. That means no big plans or pressure-ful travel getaways. It’s actually been nice to be low key, speaking for myself. I’m just glad she’s here! Kristi is slowly but surely improving, so that’s the best part. Of course we are missing our Pace Family, and Camp July – I still need to post photos from last year! Soon, I hope.
But for now, our day-to-day SF summer has the added bonus of Mollard boys in it. Which is dreamy! I pretend they are my 10 and 14 year old nephews. In the spirit of low energy days, I have been low photo-count too. There will be no slideshow, and I’m feeling like, tradition aside, it’s no big deal. So here are my lackadaisical photos, so far (They’re in town until the 10th):
.. When my girl Kristi is coming to town:
Yippeee!
