Ice Cream Date

We finally got over to the ‘Ice Cream Bar’ on Cole, just below Carl. So Cute! Shelly and I actually made a date on the calendar. Isn’t that how all important stuff gets done? Also, we got to decide what was the best time to let our kids load up on ice cream. (1pm.)


Lucy managed the high-stool/big-ice-cream combo well. Thankfully the place was pretty empty.


The menu was huge, and filled with all kinds of weird stuff too. I played it safe with the Cherry soda (YUM). And I helped Lucy of course. The chocolate fudge sauce brought me back! I’ll experiment more next time. Anyone want to make a date?

WordPress Camp

Mark and I are at a seminar today, all about WordPress and the sites that run on it. Oscar And Lucy .Com is powered by WP, and it’s nice to check in on all the inner workings.
NerdAlert! Actually I really like the vibe here, and even though I don’t speak ‘code’, it feels a little like home. Lots of really smart dudes here. (and apparently a high number of women, compared to the usual, As reported by Mark.)
Maybe there will be some good new changes coming to Oscar and Lucy sometime soon. ;)

Instagram – Better Late Than Never

I found the party :)

I gave the Instagram App a try this weekend, over a short So. Cal Road Trip.
It was fun! The trip AND the app.

It’s all photo based, and you only follow who you want to. It’s so easy I think I’ll be sticking with it. (I Hope I don’t blog less because of it!)

Yes, the filters are cheap tricks. I feel like I’ve joined the Dark Side! You don’t have to use them. (We have a name for them: ‘Stupid Tone’) I thought I’d slum it In the name of fully trying it all out. Maybe It’s a guilty pleasure – like watching crap tv. I dunno. We’ll see.
