Fear The Beard

13 Apr 2012

It’s Orange & Black day at Clarendon, in honor of today’s Home Opener at Pac Bell.
(I mean AT&T. ?)

Anyways, Oscar abruptly changed yesterday’s haircut plans when he heard – (and the Mohawk got an extension), so he could sport it one more day. With his beard.

You may remember last year’s photos. I love them.

And of Course, Lucy wanted in one the action.

Brian Wilson is completely rediculous, but it’s all in good fun. He was in typical form yesterday for his first save of the season, as the Giants took the rubber match from the Rockies 4-2. But not before he walked a guy in. “Are you not entertained?!!”

P.S. Oscar got some new kicks too:

Go Giants!

pps one more…

Easter ’12

08 Apr 2012

The kids were scarcely back from church for 30 seconds when Oscar spotted an egg and the hunt was on.

Jeanette and Jimmy are in town!

Kiera (&family) hosted Easter Brunch, and it was Incredible!

Kiera & Cole, Jeanette & Jim, THANK YOU!! What a gorgeous brunch you treated us to! So much attention to detail! It was very special. We will never forget it!
(I look forward to linking to the Sweet Kiera post, when it’s up, for all the pretty food photography!)

Can we do this every year? :)

Chores & Allowance

01 Apr 2012

It has been brought to our attention that Oscar needs to have Jedi status.
(don’t we all?)
Specifically, he has reached the higher levels on the “free” versions of his video games, and in order to continue on his quests, needs to pay to play. Working backwards, you will quickly see how we arrived at the subject of Allowance.

Help me! How do I navigate this? He is eager to do ‘chores’ but only the fun ones, and only if they can be completed quickly. The above photo is his effort at setting the table before pancakes. Okay.
Now can he please go clean his room?

PS. Lucy is pouting because today was the first day of No Bottles.
She is a ‘big girl’, and we need to stop the madness. Last night she asked for one in the middle of the night! Enough is enough and it’s going to have to be cold turkey. We tried limiting them to a couple of times a day, but that just turned them into a controlled substance. So wish us luck this week! I predict rough seas…
